Carthage, NC. Moore Humane Society is a private, non profit organization incorporated in 1966. We operate the only non profit animal shelter located in Moore County and practice "no-kill" philosophies. We are not part of Moore County Government or animal control. We receive no government support of any kind or funding from any organization.
